Sixers Weekly – What do you expect this to say?

The Sixers fell to the Indiana Pacers in Indiana on Monday night with the score of 99-90. The loss was the Sixers 21st loss in a row and marked a franchise record that the 1972-73 Sixers held when they finished 9-73. Thaddeus Young led the Sixers with 23 points on 4 of 8 shots from three point range.  MCW scored 15 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and also dished out 5 assists. James Anderson did not travel with the team due to a quad contusion.

While the Sixers are losing, MCW has gotten some advice from people who’ve had the same tough beginning in the NBA. Among those people are Oklahoma City Thunder’s superstar Kevin Durant. Carter Williams said, “I’ve talked to Kevin Durant a few times. His teams weren’t good when he was in his rookie and sophomore year. I talked to him a bunch and he gives me good advice about just working every day. The Sixers fell to the Chicago Bulls 102-94 at home on Wednesday. Thad Young had a game high 24 points and was 4 of 7 from three point range. Brett Brown said this about the upcoming NBA draft, “I am a best player guy and figure it out. Everybody has different opinions. My opinion is that you take the very best player and you figure it out.

The Sixers lost to the New York Kmicks 93-92 at home on Friday. The loss was the teams 23rd consecutive loss overall and the their 18th consecutive at home. Carter Williams led the charge as he almost had a triple-double as he totaled 22 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists. The Sixers were defeated by the Chicago Bulls 91-81 on Saturday night. Thaddeus Young led the Sixers in scoring as he scored 28 points on 10 of 26 shooting. Henry Sims put up one of his best games as a Sixer as he scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.
